Kristina Calkins and Ted Rhodes of the Carpinteria Arts Center relayed the energy and excitement of the annual Artists Studio Tour which takes place each May during Mother's Day weekend in Carpinteria/Summerland.

The Artists Studio Tour presents dozens of local professional artists opening their doors to visitors who want a rare glimpse behind the scenes where the creative experience unfolds.

This year there are an amazing thirty-two local artists to experience!

They also shared the details about the GROUP SHOW of the artists which runs for ten days before, during, and after the Artists Studio Tour.  The Group Show offers a one-stop chance to preview the local artists participating in this year's Artists Studio Tour and enjoy an opportunity to purchase their artwork.

As the Carpinteria Arts Center's location is undergoing a fabulous and total renovation, the Group Show will be hosted at the Palm Loft Gallery located at 410 Palm Ave #A-1 in Carpinteria.  Visitors may experience this incredible show May 5-13, 2018 from 10 AM to 5 PM.

The Carpinteria Arts Center is very grateful to our sponsors of this year's Artists Studio Tour: our SUPPORTING SPONSOR, Montecito Bank & Trust; our STUDIO SPONSORS Rabobank, John Madden Construction, Inc., Palm Loft Gallery, Jack's Bistro Famous Bagels and Catering, Santa Barbara Independent.

The Artists Studio Tour was established by the Carpinteria Arts Center in 2007 to promote and support our local artists with this annual opportunity for the public to meet them, view their work, and explore their creative studios.
