Be transported back to Montecito in the 1920s and 1930s. Casa del Herrero (House of the Blacksmith) is one of the finest examples of Spanish Revival architecture in America. The 11-acre estate has lush Moorish-inspired gardens, and it houses a collection of fine and decorative art objects from the “Golden Age” of Spain, during the 15th and 16th centuries. It maintains National Historic Landmark status, functioning as a nonprofit organization with the goal of preserving the house and grounds. In addition, you will be able to view the outdoor sculpture exhibition, Symbiotic - Seven Contemporary Sculptors.
All in person tours will follow government safety guidelines and are contingent upon current local government restrictions at the time the tours occur.
