Hand-dyed organic cotton L to R Logwood, Avocado, Nettles #1 in ongoing series. A multi-step, lengthy process of harvesting, scouring, mordanting followed by creation of banners, hand stitching, embellishment with Japanese glass seed beads. Inspired by dewdrops in undisturbed Nature. Part of my 2022 move toward natural, safe-for-our-planet artwork.
