This piece is a "After the Rain" looking across the marsh at Rincon. I typically spend quite a bit of time on my pieces. I like layering paint so there are different surprises of color that reveal themselves as light & color are continually changing.
With my landscapes the horizon is almost always my starting point, many times it gets obscured. Light & color are my loves.
