It is amazing to me how food transforms into art with a simple change of light. I photographed each of these ingredients on a light box that illuminated them from behind. This allowed me to see the incredibly intricate details and colors within the food. I hope the next time you pick herbs from your garden or purchase fresh produce from the farmers market, you pause and appreciate the magical works of art they are.
