This piece was inspired by the name of Laura's cafe and the crescent moon that became her logo. The organic cotton banner was dyed three separate times in Japanese indigo. The gold leafed star was created with several shimmering layers, echoing the color of the harvest moon we are so privileged to see rising over our Carpinteria foothills.
