Description from the Artist:
We are studio mates and colleagues who work in a shared space on Linden Avenue. For this project we pulled from the layering in the lasagna recipe and wanted to relate that to our approach to art making, which, for both of us incorporates layering of materials and colors. Starting with a layer of noodles, just like the recipe, we added bits of visual information we pulled from the Giovanni's graphics like the wine glass and the iconic checkered tablecloth.
