Behind The Spot is the Carpinteria Community Garden where communities gather to plant, to educate, and to create this beautiful vibrant garden for everyone to share. These pressed flowers were collected from that special garden and together with the round shaped wall decor, it signifies togetherness, and unity. What makes these small-town restaurants so special is the community it harbored and fed throughout the years, and this is what I wanted to depict in my piece: the blooming of a beautiful community.
