
The 3rd Annual Carpinteria Festival of Books is returning Sunday, April 12th from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM!
This authors faire is an opportunity for local-area authors to sell and sign their work and meet with readers-- browse selections from local writers, listen to live readings, and even read to a therapy dog from Therapy Dogs of Santa Barbara!
Co-sponsored by The Carpinteria Writers Group and the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center, this free public festival highlights both traditionally and self-published authors.

The Carpinteria Writer’s Group supports the efforts of local authors with discussion and feedback sessions, readings, and other events. Meetings are weekly, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Carpinteria Library Community Room. New members are always welcome.
The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center is a community arts and events center in the heart of downtown Carpinteria, CA. As a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we serve the community by providing a venue for creative arts education, exhibition, and appreciation as well as providing a city-center location for the community to gather.
