School Field Trip Program
Bring your students to the Carpinteria Arts Center for a creative, hands-on field trip designed to inspire curiosity and conversation around art.
Our free one-hour morning field trips are led by trained volunteers and thoughtfully paced to keep students engaged from start to finish. Each visit includes a guided gallery experience and a collaborative art activity in our outdoor courtyard.
What Students Will Experience

Gallery Visit: Students explore the current exhibition and learn how to look closely at works of art.

Art Voting Activity: Each student votes for their favorite artwork in the show, encouraging personal choice and discussion.

Hands-On Art Project: A creative art activity in the courtyard allows students to make their own print to take home.

Snack & Mural Time: Students can enjoy their snack while viewing and talking about the current teen mural, connecting art to youth voices and community.
