Teaching Artist: Atlas Klapp
Discover the joy of making with clay in this beginner-friendly hand building workshop. Using a small slab of clay, you'll learn how to shape and form your own decorative dish, attach hand-built feet, and explore the beautiful technique of sgraffito. At the end of the workshop, we'll glaze and fire your finished piece, and you'll return a few weeks later to pick up your one-of-a-kind handmade dish.
Price: $60/$54 for members or $80 for Parent/Child pair
Program Cancellations and Refund Policy:
In the event that you are unable to attend a class or tour, a full refund for registration fees may be issued if your request is received at least 45 days before your program start date. If your request is received within 44 to 11 days of your program start date we will refund 50%. If you need to cancel within 10 days or less, unfortunately no refund can be issued. Certain programs and events are transferable to another person. If a program is cancelled by The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center, we will issue a full refund. Please be aware that some programs are non-refundable and this information will be specifically noted in the program description.
