Indigo is a dye extracted from leaves and can color all natural fibers. It gives varied shades of blue — from the palest summer sky to deep blue. Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing it in indigo. In this workshop you will create unique patterns on a cotton tea towel and a silk scarf. All materials provided.
