Description from the Artist:
Bluebirds are symbols of happiness, love, and hope. In Navajo and Iroquois traditions, they also represent good fortune, fertility, and prosperity. I painted this young male western bluebird, just beginning to show his adult plumage, perched on a branch of ripening toyon berries to further symbolize growth and coming of age. I hope this piece resonates with you.
