Description: While on a morning walk here in Carpinteria, I was struck by the overall feeling of a street ahead of me. It got me thinking about the day after a good rain; how everything feels washed clean and new. For this piece I wanted to express that idea of appreciating a "common" sight from a new perspective and really seeing the beauty in everyday life.
