Description: "A Good Cry" began as a raw response to the 2024 elections, fueled by feelings of anger and betrayal shared by so many of us. Initially titled "Liar," I scrawled the word across the canvas — literally hundreds of times. Next, I laid down layers of thinned paint, letting it run like tears, dissolving my fury and airing the "wounds" like bullet holes. Cycling through this process over and again was cathartic, transforming despair into something else — a release. Like a good cry.
