This chakra is the 5th of seven major chakras that coincide with the seven colors of the rainbow spectrum. These spinning wheels of light are constantly receiving, assimilating, and expressing life force energy. Each time I paint a new chakra mandala, there is an abundance of insight, self-discovery, and healing as a result of the process. The throat chakra is the realm of vibrations and sound where we discover our own voice. As I sat with this mandala, my prime focus was on finding my own authentic voice during a time when so much has been changing at such a rapid pace. The process of clearing away all the outer noise from the world and going within allowed for a clear channel for new avenues of self-expression with courage and clarity
