Description: I've been noticing that unintentional themes appear in my work that constantly surprise me. This painting of Carpinteria's beloved Palm Loft Gallery displays an orange car that keeps showing up unannounced in my paintings...as well as dashes of turquoise that I can't really explain. (The bird was really there, though.) Painted plein air across from Palm Avenue this past summer (2025).
