Description: I gather bean clam shells (mostly from Rincon Point), organize them, then assist as they arrange themselves to tell stories. After I photograph an arrangement, I reorganize the shells and eventually return them to the beach. At each stage in this process, I marvel at the intricate beauty and variety of these critters, also known as coquina.
