Santa Barbara Historical Museum: Ludmilla Pilat Welch, Serene Santa Barbara

Friday, March 12th, 11:00 AM – Noon

Join us for a private docent-led tour of the artwork of important early California artist Ludmilla Pilat Welch. Ludmilla moved to Santa Barbara in 1905, upon her husband Thadeus Welch’s retirement. Thadeus was also an important early California artist known for his California mission paintings. Upon Ludmilla’s arrival, she was fascinated with the remaining adobes. Her artwork is an important historic record of Santa Barbara’s past.

Program Cancellations and Refund Policy:
In the event that you are unable to attend a class or tour, a full refund for registration fees may be issued if your request is received at least 45 days before your program start date. If your request is received within 44 to 11 days of your program start date we will refund 50%. If you need to cancel within 10 days or less, unfortunately no refund can be issued. Certain programs and events are transferable to another person. If a program is cancelled by The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center, we will issue a full refund. Please be aware that some programs are non-refundable and this information will be specifically noted in the program description.
