Description: Taken at Bates Beach in Carpinteria, I had been shooting the sunset, facing west as the sun dropped below the horizon, with a minus tide. As I wrapped up shooting, I turned to look southeast and saw this beautiful pastel palette of the sky, the ocean, and the sky reflected in the wet sand. As an extra bonus, there were no people in the shot. Shot on a Ricoh GR, printed on Red River archival inkjet paper.
