Description: This painting was inspired by the natural beauty of the Carpinteria Bluffs. I was walking along the bluffs in spring when the mustard was in bloom, and was struck by the sun dancing around the clouds. Acrylic paint, graphite pencil, and pastels, along with numerous mixed media processes, were used to add energy and depth to the painting.
