Description: Spring Abundance is inspired by my love of searching for wildflowers each spring. I composed the painting from many of the photographs I've taken over the years on spring wildflower outings throughout California. It features a variety of native spring blooms growing together in one setting. A monarch butterfly rests on a milkweed plant, highlighting the important relationship between native plants and pollinators.
